Deception is different from the lie. The lie is what was stated. Deception occurred when you believed it.  

Deception can lead you into a winding road of unpredictable events. Let's face it - LIFE ITSELF IS UNPREDICTABLE. However, when deception comes into play, it can give you a roadmap of darkness. Deception is the fruit of the lie & the journey that deception takes you on is on a journey of mistrust, insecurity, confusion & even death. Death to those dreams, confidence & security - even in God.

Eve didn't walk into deception until she allowed the lie to push her into making her next move - which was to invite her husband to believe the lie. How often does the enemy use women? Everyday. God wants to use you all the more. Your seed, whether that be your children, businesses, ministries or community programs that you birth out - will bruise the head of the serpent. You need to know who you are in Him and what you've been purposed for. This will give you clarity & and re-enforcement of God's plan for your life.  

In summary, you cannot stop others from lying or from trying to deceive you. They are just doing their job. Satan uses anyone who will allow him to use them.  

You do have a responsibility - and that is how you respond to the lie. It's ok to feel pain, but you can't stay there. Many have been deceived in their childhood and even know who their real parent(s) are. Some have been deceived in relationships, money transactions & even by governing systems.  

You have a responsibility to heal. Trust again & love again. The beginning of true healing is admitting to the pain & then making a plan of redemption. This all starts with vision. You must get a vision for who you want to be - not who they said you were or how they treated you.
